Holi and Navratri: when Indian players install apps

Play in India is not evenly spread across the year. The Holi long weekend is short and social, so people tend to try apps they were already recommended rather than browse blindly. In the summer holidays, school and college schedules change, and daytime usage looks different from the rest of the year.

Navratri (September or October) is the other window worth knowing about. Navratri is a nine-night festival, so the play pattern across those days tends to be fragmented rather than concentrated.

Risks to keep in mind

Gaming can be habit-forming. Take breaks, avoid chasing losses, and step away if it stops being enjoyable. Rummy, teen patti and similar formats carry financial risk. Set a spending cap before your first session and stop when you hit it.
